Here at HPE we are growing our AI and Data team to explore Predictive Analytics, Natural Language Processing (nlp), Video Analytics, and various other facets of Artificial Intelligence. 

As a Senior Artificial Intelligence Architect/ Data Scientist, you will make your mark and join us at this exciting time of growth and transformation. You will quickly slot into existing projects and enhance customer outcomes, and be adaptable to positioning data oriented solutions with new clients projects.

Our main technologies are Python, R, and Tensorflow. With us you will be leading end-to-end projects with clients, from initial exploratory workshops to engage customer teams and get them excited about Artificial Intelligence, to the final delivery of their project.

You will be a Senior Artificial Intelligence Architect/ Data Scientist ready to make your mark and join us at this key period of growth in the field of AI. 

Recently HPE has acquired both BlueData and MapR furthering our AI and data proposition capabilities with clients. We want you to join us on our journey into AI, to make key business decisions, and lead us forward into the world of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Big Data. You will be predominantly delivery focused with some business development.

Your role in Artificial Intelligence:

  • Leveraging HPE’s AI & Data ecosystem solutions

  • Lead workshops exploring our AI capability with clients and innovating propositions to the point of sale 

  • Experience of several programming languages (Python and scripting languages) and the ability to pick up new languages easily

  • Understanding of relational and non-relational databases

  • Integration with REST Web Services

  • Understanding of orchestrations tools

  • Knowledge of data science platforms such as DataIku, H2O, RapidMiner

  • Experience of the wider data ecosystem preferable (NiFi, Kafka, HDFS etc)

  • Understanding of security principles

  • Experience within an Agile team / of agile team methodologies

  • Ideally some experience of leveraging software engineering best practices such as unit testing

  • Experience of deploying or integrating with common data platforms preferable (Hadoop ecosystem, RDBMS, NoSQL etc)

  • Ability to work as part of a team either remotely or on customer site

  • Understanding of end-to-end project delivery
