The World Wide Advanced Administrator team is an instrumental part of the HPE’s Sales Processes and Tools group that supports the Sales organization. This team is responsible for managing the internal Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Platform for HPE world-wide. HPE’s CRM platform (based on Salesforce.com) helps our Sales teams and Partners manage, track and automate their customer interactions throughout the sales cycle with a centralized set of business processes and tools.
The role of the World Wide Advanced Administrator is to deliver creative solutions to address our stakeholders’ needs within the CRM platform utilizing Salesforce.com capabilities and App Exchange integrations. The Advanced Administrator collaborates with process leads and stakeholders to assess, design, and implement business requirements to deliver a superior sales experience. In addition, our Advanced Administrators are responsible for managing and resolving escalated cases.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience within the IT Industry
- 3+ years of Salesforce expertise
- Salesforce Certified – Admin Essentials – minimum
- Salesforce Certified – Advanced Admin – preferred
- Certified Developer and App Builder Certifications would be an asset
- Proven experience and knowledge of Salesforce Workflows, Process Builder, Visual Flows
- Understanding of object-oriented databases, including SQL queries
- Experience with Salesforce Development and Coding
- Knowledge of Salesforce Workflows, Process Builder, Visual Flows will be an asset
- Understanding of object-oriented databases, including SQL queries
- Experience with Salesforce development and coding will be an advantage
Specific responsibilities would include:
- Adding or modifying picklist values
- Updating profiles and permission sets
- Updating or creating new page layouts
- Adding new fields and managing Field-Level Security
- Creating or modifying Workflow Rules, Validation Rules and Process Builder's Processes
- Creating new custom buttons, quick or object specific actions
- Creating or modifying Entitlements/Entitlement Processes
- Creating or modifying new record types
- Creating or modifying email templates
- Creating new objects and managing access to them
- Creating new Reports and Dashboards
- Development of support and maintenance readiness documentation
- May perform data updates and cleanup using Dataloader or Workbench tools
- Will review and communicate new administration processes to Regional Frontline Teams
- Will identify areas of de-coding and propose standard, scalable SFDC Solutions
- May perform system audit and compliance checks related to user access or system data
- Support with MTP and Hotfix Deployment activities
